April 25 2016
Okay so this week has been great! The Mission is undergoing it's last push with President and Sister McConkie as the mission Presidents. Next Transfer is their Last two months in the mission, and we (all the missionaries) are beginning to feel the hole that we'll soon have in each of our hearts.
On Monday last week, we went on a really cool Hiking Trip with J, our friend from English Class. He took us up a "mountain" while it was raining, into the Czech forests... it seriously looks like we're in Narnia out here!
on Tuesday, We recieved a text message from the Zone Leaders that President McConkie wanted us to pray at 5:00pm that day, for the entire mission, so we did, and then that Evening, we had a lesson with our Investigator V. President C (District President of Bohemia) was there with us, to help us teach.
V has been having some questions about "receiving answers" and the like, and during the lesson we were trying to determine what we could best tell him, and then President C asked if he could say something. Elder Pickett and I said Of Course, and then President Chrdla proceeded to elaborate on the nature of prayer and understanding and recognizing answers. He then told Vojtěch about the fact that Answers don't always come in a ball of fire, and in fact, most of the time they are us reflecting on past experiences, past times when we have felt the Holy Ghost.
As President C was elaborating this to V, V said,
"To dava smysl" (that makes sense)
and we just felt the spirit enter the room.
After letting the spirit speak to each of us in silence for a few seconds, Elder Pickett asked V,
(in czech of course) "V, your baptismal date is coming up for the 7th of May. Do you feel like you're prepared to be Baptized?"
To which he thought for a moment and then said,
"Probably yes."
The spirit filled the room, and for the first time in my entire mission, I realized... that this is the closest we've ever been to helping somebody get closer to christ through Baptism. I am so Excited to see this happen, and we're going to make it happen.
On Wednesday, we had our last District Meeting of the Transfer. I procrastinated planning of the meeting... again... and the assignments were given the night before and the day of to my district...
oops.
Guess we'll see if I get another Chance next transfer to try again.
Wednesday night, we visited our Investigator G (speaks English). He had invited us to come over to his home for a Prayer Meeting. He's of the Ba-hi Faith, and they have their prayers in books which they read. They believe in the bible, as well as Every other book out there, and they believe that every "prophet" taught the same things... Jesus taught the same things as Muhammad they claim.
We visited his home and met some other Ba-Hi members, and they did their little prayers in the circle, and then it got to Me and Elder Pickett... I just turned and Looked at Elder Pickett and said,
"I'll pray."
so I Prayed... the way WE pray of course... nobody fear.
During that Prayer meeting, our investigator turned to us and asked,
"So how can we recognize that Joseph Smith was a Prophet?"
We then started talking about the Church, and about Modern Revelation, we read from the Book of Mormon.
The entire group was suddenly fixated on us, and we were receiving questions, good, genuine questions from every person. We sat there comfortably as we explained about the church, and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
It was actually quite funny really, we were using the Book of Mormon Introduction to answer 90 percent of their questions.
At several points in the meeting, we were asked about certain scriptures in the Bible, scriptures that we already study and knew. It's fascinating really just how true and simple the Gospel is. It's the world that makes things Complicated.
On Thursday, we Had our Kulturní Večer (Culture Night), and we had another English student show us around CBud, in a tour of all of the historical sights. We learned about the City and its rivalry with neighboring cities during the dark ages, and we learned about how it once was a heavily fortified city, with 2 City walls around the city, with only 3 heavily fortified Gates.
We went up into the Black Tower, the big tall tower in České Budějovice, and got an amazing view of the city. I am going to have some good video after my mission thanks to this Go Pro...
Then, after our Tour of CBud, we went to the Fil Harmony, (a place for concerts), and we asked them,
"are there any extra seats for us to see the Orchestra?" To which the people replied, no, but just go ahead and you can stand in the back.
So we got to go see the Orchestra play, a professional Orchestra play for free. haha!
On Saturday we had a good day of weekly planning and had a Party with our Member O. She's the same woman whom we visited and Elder Pickett had given her a blessing.
"when we were there, she had prepared some Chlebíčky (sandwhiches without the top piece of bread), and she told us to sit down and eat... so the four of us, the sisters and us, sat down, and we ate... and we talked... then we wanted to play cards, so O called her Brother, and he brought in the Oldest cards I have ever seen in my entire life. These things were Ancient... I mean, they had Roman Numerals on these things, they were fading, and they had different dimensions than your average card deck today.
These things looked like they had been dug up out of some tomb somewhere, and we managed to play a Matching Game, as well as Uno with them... I'll include a picture.
On Sunday, (yesterday), I conducted Sacrament meeting for the 2nd time. This time went well, except for one talk during Sacrament Meeting, the member who was speaking asked a question to the congregation and one of the sister's investigators raised his hand and answered the Question... Oh the things you do as a Czech Slovak Missionary... hahaha!
Today, we went to an antique store and elder Pickett and I each Bought 50 year old Prim Watches. The brand Prim is a Czech Brand, and they have old watches that were made here, back when this was CzechoSlovakia, and the watches are windup, and they still work. It was about 550Kč, or about 20 USD. It's a super cool Souvenir, and they still work that is sooo cool!
This week's been awesome, and I am feeling the affects of prayers on the other side of the world. I love you guys, Thanks!
Čau!

April 18 2016
This week has been good. I have seen the Hand of the Lord in my life, and our Father in Heaven has given me some personal council lately, it's been just what I needed, and I know that Prayer is incredible.
I kind of want to do an update on our Area here in CBud.
We are currently teaching 3 Investigators:
- V): A wonderful man, about 30 and he's been studying with the missionaries for several Transfers now. He already knows Everything in terms of the missionary lessons, and he litterally just needs to be baptized. He also has some other concerns that are prohibiting him from being baptized at this time, but as soon as he decides to overcome his concerns, he will be baptized.
Vojtěch is currently on Baptismal Date for the 7th of May.
- A: She was found when a member told Elder Pickett and I that he was bringing one of his friends to our lesson with V. We had on plan to teach V with this member, and then this member showed up with his friend, A. A is about 56-60 years old. Her husband was already a member of the Church, but passed away just a few years ago. Ana has been unceasingly coming to church regularly, and keeps all of our commitments as best she can. She currently doesn't have any glasses so it is virtually impossible for her to read the Book of Mormon on her own. We're still working on that.
A is not on Baptismal Date yet. (We're trying)
- G: He is from England, he lives here in CBud, but doesn't speak any Czech. He teaches English to students in the University, and he is from the religion Ba-Hi. He has been meeting with missionaries for quite a long time, but has never actually come to church.
He pretty much knows all the lessons, but he is just too attached to his origional Bahi Beliefs. We, as missionaries are not here to convince people that they are wrong, so we decided it would be the best for him, for us to give him some time to just think about everything. We're going to stress the idea of having a Desire to know that the Gospel is true. Without the desire, he won't act in Faith.
G is currently not on Baptismal Date. (We'll see what happens, though, I have faith that we're going to see some interesting things happen with him)
Elder Pickett and I are currently working with 3 Less Active members.
L: She was baptized just a few transfers ago, and she is a wonderful light in the branch. she is about 30 and has some wonderful young children. She has a strong testimony but she often faces opposition from family as well as some of the branch members. We're working with her. She currently has been missing for the last 3 weeks, and we have not heard a word from her.
O: She must be about 50, and she is the kindest lady you could ever meet. She has the tenderest testimony, and she trusts the Book of Mormon and the Gospel. She loves to be the person that people go to when they need emotional comfort, and she just loves to give give give back.
C: He is an Aaronic priesthood holder who has a fine family, wife and children, however we never actually see his wife or his children, when we come over to visit, they don't want to hear about the Gospel.
He comes to church and passes the Sacrament some times, and he just wants to do the right thing. He is a man, with trials, but he does his best, and that is Admirable. I Love this guy.
Our plans for the progression of this area include working more with less actives. The branch here has currently 10 Active members, and the Branch List suggests that there are at least 49 members in Total in this city. Elder Pickett and I will be working to Track them down, and beat them upside the head with enough love to get them back to church... not really, but sometimes it seems like that.
The thought, is that if we can get some more Active Members, it would do a couple of good things, including, 1. We would be able to have more lessons with Members Present.
2. We would be able to numerically strengthen the Branch... Imagine the 10 Active members, becoming 15, or 20 Active members! That would literally Double the Effectiveness and size of this Branch's influence here! ha!
3. It would help us as missionaries to act in faith that we can find people through Members, just as they do in the United States Missions, and in the South American Missions.
Members are the best way to do missionary work, Fact... Therefore, that is what we will focus on.
-----------------------------
Well there you go, that's my email for this week, an update of my Area, and what's going on, and stuff. Mom, you've been asking to know more about the people we're teaching and stuff like that, so I thought I'd just throw down and give you Everything that I am allowed to give you.
Love you all, keep up the Good work, and rememeber that Conference can help us thoughout the entire year. Keep studying conference!
Love,
Elder Dean
April 11 2016
I can't believe this transfer is already almost over. We're sitting here Emailing and Week Seven is officially over, WHAT?
It's Monday, we just got back from a really pretty but also really hard bike ride. We called the Zone leaders first to ask for permission, they said they didn't know and that we needed to ask President. Then we talked to the Assistants to the President, they also didn't know, and then I got up the guts to call President McConkie about it.
As he answered the phone last night I heard him say this before I could even tell him who was calling,
"Elder. . . . Dean. . . you wonderful young man, you district leader, Councelor in the Branch Presidency, dog bitten wonderful missionary... what can I do for you tonight?"
-that made me feel better about calling him.
I'll send some pictures of this Bike ride.
-------------------------------------------------------------
This week has been a good one, especially because we were able to see Conference, Duh. Earlier this week, elder Pickett and I had been watching The District Two, and at one point the missionaries said something like,
"there was one day this week when we just didn't have any appointments, and we just didn't know what to do... so we decided to go out and try to contact people on the street."
Elder Pickett also told me about a quote from The District that he had heard last transfer, which was Elder Ballard saying something like,
"Okay missionaries, we are issuing a challenge for you. The Challenge is, Talk to at least Ten People Every Day."
After thinking of and hearing these two things, I began thinking about how missionary work here in Europe, and missionary work in the United States is different. I thought about how Preach My Gospel tells us that the most effective way to do missionary work, is through the Members.
Seriously all you at home should take time to read through Preach My Gospel, it will blow your mind just how Essential Members are in Missionary work. Litterally missionary work is almost impossible without you.
As I was pondering this, I remembered that at our last Zone Training, President McConkie had mentioned something about, "Be Problem Solvers."
As I remembered that, I began thinking about how we could solve this problem of not having hardly any Members to teach with.
Let me just put this into perspective for you all...
CBud is one of the Smallest Branches in the Czech Republic, we litterally have 9 active members, and 3 of them are older women, and 1 of them is too young for us to teach with.
that leaves 5 members. Now subtract 1, being the Branch President, he lives here in CBud, but he works and goes to school in Prague, so he is only here on Saturdays and Sundays, and that's still only about 2/3 weeks. Then one member doesn't have a phone. then one member is not the best to teach with because he only wants to talk about other things during the lessons. Then one member is just difficult to predict, and currently isn't even in CBud.
So we litterally have like 3 members to teach with... maybe. Not to mention their work, and their lives outside missionary work, we can't just run to them all the time.
Many of you missionaries in other places in the world, never underestimate the blessings of Large Wards. This entire country does not even have one Stake yet. Everything is separated into Branches, and in some cases, like here in CBud, the missionaries litterally run 80 percent of the branch.
now...
As I sat pondering this, I asked myself,
"If members are the best way to find, then what do we need? more members."
I felt that we needed to start looking at Less Actives.
there are 9 or 10 active members in CBud, but there are over 50 Members on Record.
I cannot Even IMAGINE the blessings that would come from having 50 active members in this Branch, in this City... that would be incredible.
I sometimes wonder,
"why does't the Lord work harder on the hearts of the people here?"
the fact is, the Lord dosn't have a lot to work with here.
So Elder Pickett and I have decided to begin tracking down these less actives and getting them reactivated. This has given me new found faith, and as we search for these members, I know that it is a way to excersise faith. During conference this weekend (we watched Conference a week later than you all because it needed to be translated into Czech), I recieved a spiritual confirmation that the decision to go after the lost sheep, the Less Active members, is the way to go.
We can't wait to get this thing rolling, and I hope to see some mighty miracles come from this over the rest of this transfer, as well as heading into next transfer.
............................................................................................
The talks during conference were wonderful, and I liked the talks about the Family Council, the talk about Fathers, the talk about going after the lost sheep.
Elder Holland's concluding talk was just what I needed to hear. I want to download it and study it as well as the rest of Conference.
I love this Church, and I love this Gospel. I will be the first one to tell you all, this is hard... and yes, It is hard to keep my faith sometimes, but the fact it is that it's true, and nothing can change that.
I wonder sometimes just how much the Lord wants to express His love to us, but we just don't recognize it, or maybe don't look for it in the right places.
If we give our hearts to God, I know, I have experieced it, He will take us, and lead us, and hold us, and walk with us... and even Carry us.
I heard a few times in my mission, this thought:
I can look back on my life and see my footprints in the sand, the places I've been, the people I've associated with, the friends I've made, the ways I've changed. The choices I've made. I can rememebr when my life felt like it was worth it. I can also remember those times when it seemed so hard to continue that I wondered if it was worth it at all. Often times I can look back and see where the Savior's footprints where there, next to mine in the sand, and I can remember how he guided me, how he showed me the way.
But during those times when life seemed too difficult, I would often notice that there was only one set of footprints, and today I somtimes ask,
"Lord, why didn't you walk with me during my time of pain?"
To which the Lord replies,
"I never left your side, take a closer look. Those times that you only see one set of footprints, those were the times that I was carrying you.
Your soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake, I'll never, no never, I'll never no never, I'll never no never no never forsake."
I love you all. Have a wonderful week.
here're your assignments if you were not able to remember them:
- Read Preach My Gospel on the section about Working With Members.
- All members, work with the missionaries in your Areas. Your support and willingness to teach and fellowship new converts and Investigators in more essential to the Lord's work, then you can understand.

This week... well, where do I start..?
I suppose I should just start, by saying that Everything is fine, I'm doing well, I am doing fine spiritually, and the area is doing fine as well.
We started out this week by visiting the Museum here in CBud on Monday. It was 110 Crowns or something like that, which is about 5 dollars in US currency. The Museum was cool, I got some pictures of some of the things in there, and we learned about the history of the city, České Budějovice. I'll include some pictures in this email.
on Tuesday, Elder Pickett and I went in to talk to the City about doing things like Tabling (when we have a table out on the street somewhere and we have BOM's and stuff set up for people to see).
We walked into the main City building where they do all the big stuff, and we went upstairs, and went into some offices. They told us to go to another part of the building, and so we went there and when we got inside, we told the lady at the desk, (through our broken Czech)
"we want to talk to your boss, we want to have a table out on the main square and talk to people about our church. Can we talk to the man in charge?"
The lady replied with, "no"
But then the guy actually walked in from the other room and asked,
"what do you need?" (in czech of course)
"we want to ask if we can have a table on the main Square or on the streets here to tell people about our church."
He told us that we needed to talk to some other people in the building who were designated to deal with those issues so we went there, but they were not working that day, so we're going back another day.
On Tuesday night (now here's where my week got interesting), I was getting ready for bed, and I felt some ichiness in my body that I did not like... long story short... I had worms. I called Sister McConkie (we're supposed to call her whenever we have a medical issue or question), and I asked,
"Hello Sister McConkie, you don't need to be worried, I'm fine, but I want to ask... What am I supposed to do if I have worms?"
I'm not going to go into detail, basically I had worms in my waste... and sister McConkie told me that I was going to talk to a Doctor in Germany.
So this Doctor called a few minutes later and asked me a few questions about these "little critters"(as he called them), and basically I needed to set up an appointment to see the doctors in Prague...
So I talked to Sister McConkie again, and then called the doctor's office in Prague, and then luckily I was able to talk to them in English. I couldnt't get in that day, so I was simply going to need to go to bed, and then go in the day after.
The thing about traveling to Prague from CBud, is... well... it takes 2.5 hours by Train... luckily, we already had on plan to go to Prague that next day, because we had Zone Conference (training).
So Longer story short, We went to Prague the next morning, had an awesome training by President McConkie and the Zone Leaders, and then Elder Pickett and I Started our Exchanges with the Assistants (assistants to the president). Shortly after Training had ended, Elder Pickett and I had our transferly Interviews with President McConkie. My interview went well, and then all the missionaries in Prague (I think that's 6 of us) went and did a singing display on some random street corner. After some more finding, we finally went to the doctor's office, and I sat down, and the doctor asked me what was wrong.
I explained, "I've got pinworms"
The doctor looked suprized to see that I seemed to know what I was talking about. He then asked me,
"Do you have Proof?"
.............................
After describing to him what I had seen, he eventually said,
"I'll believe you this time, but next time something like this happens, you should bring proof with you." (yeah right: I thought)
The doctor thumbed through this old book that looked like a dictionary and then said,
"I'm going to give you (some pill), and it says here (in the book he was reading) that I should only give you six"
(that seemed trustworthy)
...................................................
So then, by this time it was geting late, probably about 7:30pm, and he handed me a prescription, we then left the office, and went to the most sketchy Pharmacy I had Ever seen. I'll include a picture of it here in the email too.
........................................
Later that Night, from the APs' Appartment, Sister McConkie called to confirm that Everything was going well. I told her the name of the pills I had recieved, and she confirmed with the doctor in Germany that the pills I had were the correct ones, with the correct amounts. they were.
.......................................
After our Exchange with the APs, Elder Pickett and I headed back into CBud. When We got here, we started contacting about Family History, and found some pretty cool people right off the train. (Friday)
...............................
Then the NEXT interesting happened... On Saturday, while Elder Pickett and I were going to visit a less Active member here in CBud, we were running because we were late, and our lesson just before had gone overtime. So while we were running, we came around a corner in this neighborhood, and up the road a ways on the sidewalk was a young girl walking her dog coming in the opposite direction. We eventually caught up to them and Elder Pickett ran passed them without a problem.
Then I ran passed them, and the dog suddenly jumped out at me and bit me, ripping my white shirt, and through my garments creating a hole about the size of two tennis balls, and just barely scratching me, took a little skin but there was almost no bleeding at all, and I stopped and said to her,
"Hele! To Nejde, musim mluvit s někim o tom! muj Košile je zničeno, a mám krev!" which is,
"hey! That's not okay, I must speak with somebody about that! My Shirt is Destroyed, and I have blood!" (that's the literal translation).
I actually spoke very calmly with her, seriously you could ask my companion, but she was just not understanding that THIS IS NOT OKAY!
I really wasn't bleeding but it technically had breached my skin, so there was need for concern.
She must have been no more than 14 or 13, and she simply just shrugged her shoulders and started walking away.
"Hele! ja musim mluvit s vašim rodičem!"
(hey, I need to speak with your parent)
and we started to follow her. she still was persistant to get away, and she kept walking.
Eventually I stopped to get a better look at the wound, and she went around a street corner...
I glanced at my left hip, and then I told my companion, "We've gotta follow her!"
We took off running in her direction and we too turned the corner that she had turned onto, and she had simply disappeared.
we looked for her for the next couple of minutes, and then called Sister McConkie...
"hello Sister McConkie, It's Elder Dean again.".....
..............................................
After getting home that night, the Same doctor from Germany called me again, joking,
"Elder Dean, I must say, I was hoping that I wouln't have to talk to you again this week."
I explained what happened and long story short...
We called a member here in CBud who just happens to be a Doctor. This member is also the District President of Bohemia for the entire church here, and he came to a street by our appartment where we were, and he said,
"let's go to your appartment so I can see it"
I told him,"that's against mission rules, members cannot be in our appartments."
to which he said,
"I'm a doctor, but I'll call President McConkie just to make sure."
so we got permission from President McConkie, who also talked to me on this member's phone and President McConkie told me,
"Hey Elder Dean, it seems that you're just having an interesting week aren't you. Hey listen, President Hrdla (that's the member) is going to take you to the hospital to get it formally looked at, when you get home, text me."
so after this member came inside, he looked at it and quickly said,
"it's not a big deal, you don't need to go to the Hospital to get it looked at. Do you still want to go? it's not nessesary."
I told him,
"I understand that it's not nessesary, but President McConkie asked me to do it, so I'll go."
We then went to the hospital here in CBud, and President Hrdla drove away saying,
"text me when you get home so I know you got home safe"
By this time of night it must have been 10:15pm.
Elder Pickett and I walked into the Hospital, and saw a few red signs in Czech...
that's helpful...
we saw a red line on the floor, and decided to follow it.
We eventually were led to a small lobby with a bunch of chairs, and there were a few people milling around. We stood there for a few minutes, then a door opened somewhere and a man walked out, we stopped him, he was clearly not working at the hospital, rather he must have been a patient, and we tried to explain that we need to talk to somebody.
he said,
"do you speak English?" to which we replied quickly,
"yes"
"What's wrong?" he asked.
I told him in English, "I got bit by a dog." and he quickly whips around and says the same thing in Czech, to which the nurse looks at us and waves me over.
I walk intot this place, there's a yellow chair.
"Sedi" (sit) she told me.
Next thing I knew, 3 people, a nurse, another nurse and a doctor were asking me about what happened, and about my insurance. I whipped out every thing that they could possibly need, insurance card, identity and residence card, everything.
they said I was good, and then they cleaned it by simply rubing some alchohol on my side. stung a bit.
The Doctor was super cool, a young guy that must have been only about 25 or 26, and he spoke pretty good english. After all was said and done, he told me that they only wanted me to pay the minimum... 37 crowns...
I can officially say that I went to the Czech Emergency Room, for $1.5... wish it was that much in the United States!? haha that's awesome.
Well... here I sit, telling you all about my week, I'm completely well, the only downer is that I lost a perfectly good white shirt, and we never taught our Less Active member. "Škoda" is what they say here. It's equivelant in English is probably, "pity".
Then today, Monday, we just visited a super cool Castle called Hluboka.
I'll send some pictures as well.
Love you all, seriously Don't worry, it's just another interesting story to tell here from the Czech Slovak Mission.
Seriously, don't get worried, all is well. no injuries, no worms (as far as I know, we'll see in a week or two).
Love you all, Take care of yourselves, and čau!
Elder Dean

March 28,2016 (C-Bud transfer 4)
This week has been a good one, we have not been finding a ton of people, but the people we have been finding are progressing. We currently have 4 investigators, and 2 of them are on Baptismal Date. Our First investigator, He's named V, he is about 28, works in a city outside of CBud, and lives here in CBud. He has been meeting with the missionaries for a while, a couple of transfers, and he has litterally done EVERYTHING required to be baptized, expect he has one concern... Tithing. He has gotten to the point where he litterally accepts that the book of mormon is true, he believes in God, and he agrees that all of the Commandment are from God, including Word of Wisdom, Law of Chastity, and yes... he even believes that Tithing is a commandment from God. He comes to church about every 2nd week, and he is incredible. He's more stable than some of the memebers here in the branch. He has chosen his baptismal Date to be the 7th of May.
Our 2nd investigator, G, only speaks English (not gonna argue), and is of the Ba-Hi religion. He is an english teacher, and he has lived here in the Czech Republic for over 18 years. (still interesting that he doesn't speak czech). He is on Baptismal Date for the 16th of April, although we still need to teach him several things, so we may need to adjust that Date. but we'll see.
our 3rd investigator, A, was refered by a member. one day we were actually about to have a lesson with our 1st investigator V, and we asked a member, Brother M, to teach with us, and then 10 minutes before our lesson was about to start, we called Brother M, and he told us that he wanted to bring his friend to our lesson.¨
At first we were hesitant, because this lesson with V was to be a very important and pivital lesson, but also, it's extreemely Rare that we recieve a Referal, not to mention, a referal from a member! ( that's what they're called when somebody refers somebody else to the missionaries: Referal ).
But we decided to let him bring his friend, and she turned out to be a pretty solid person. She's got a few concerns but we're working through them. She's come to church now 2 weeks in a row, that's impressive!
She's not on Baptismal Date yet, but we're hoping to change that soon.
our 4th investigator, O, was found the other day while we were out contacting. The previous night, we had sought revelation as to where we should go, and we decided to look for Somebody next to the Train Station. While we were begining to walk away from the Train Station, we were about to cross the street, and then I looked over my shoulder in a last ditch effort to find somebody else to talk to... and I saw O, walking by, looking around 20, and carrying in his hands, 5 or 6 rear view mirrors. I still have no idea where he got them. But we talked to him, and he said that he believes in God. We told him that we help people find truth, and we set up to meet with him.
We met up for the first time on Saturday, and when he came into our lesson, he said that he believes in the Bible, and that, for him, Jesus Christ is central.
He told us that the Bible is not complete, and told us that the Catholic Church also says the bible is not complete, but they say that their Traditions make up for that difference. But O said that he doesn't agree with that. He says that't not right, to believe in the traditions of their fathers, but rather, we should only live according to the living word, and to Christ. He told us that he knows that the Bible is true and he believes in Jesus Christ because he's felt the Holy Ghost.
We were so excited to hear him say this, I almost blew my top, and couldn't stop telling him that he is so cool!
